For a controller without a screen (RC-N1, RC-N2, RC-N3): DJI Fly runs on your phone. The steps are the same; only the file location differs.
- Download the flight file and move it to your phone: AirDrop, Telegram “Saved Messages”, cloud or cable.
- In DJI Fly, using the same drone, create a Waypoints mission with any 1–2 points and save it. Each flight needs its own placeholder. Close DJI Fly completely.
- Find the missions folder (below) and open the most recent folder: it has a long name made of letters and digits, and inside is a .kmz file with the same name.
- Copy this folder’s name, paste it into the field under the flight on the site, then tap “Download .kmz”: the file will already have the right name. Put it in this folder, replacing the old one. (No field? Rename the downloaded file to exactly match the file in the folder and replace it.)
- Open DJI Fly, select the mission and check the route on the map. Take off from point H: altitudes are measured from the takeoff point.
- iPhone
- “Files” → “On My iPhone” → DJI Fly → wayline_mission
- Android
- Android/data/dji.go.v5/files/waypoint
On Android 11 and later, a regular file manager often cannot open the Android/data folder. It is easier to connect the phone to a computer with a cable (on a Mac, via the free OpenMTP app) and replace the file from the computer.
